OWNERS' BIOGRAPHIES
GENEVIÈVE GAGNON
A woman of action and audacity
A woman and "daughter of..." in a man's world, innovative in a conservative field, mother of three children, she is also a workaholic. From a very young age, she has relied on her intuition and charged ahead, accumulating successes. Her secret? She adapts easily to any new situation while remaining true to herself. Through hard work, she carved out a well-deserved place for herself in the renovation industry and became, at age 27, General Manager of Groupe Yves Gagnon.
It must be said that Geneviève Gagnon comes by it honestly. She is the daughter of Yves Gagnon, who was President and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe BMR inc. from 1995 to 2015, and President of Groupe Yves Gagnon since 1973.
Gaétan and Jocelyn Létourneau
At the dawn of the 80s, as soon as they completed their studies, the Létourneau brothers joined the family business. Gaétan, driven by a true passion for customer service, built a solid regional reputation thanks to his exemplary proximity to users. For his part, Jocelyn, endowed with a sharp business acumen, took the reins of administration. He ensures collaboration with the best suppliers to offer superior quality products at the most competitive prices.

OUR HISTORY IN BRIEF
1974 | The first stone in Waterville
François Létourneau acquires a 3,500-square-foot building on Route 143. Armed with his construction experience, he founds what will become a pillar of the region.
1980s | The arrival of the second generation
The four sons — Jocelyn, Gaétan, Bertrand, and Jean-Pierre — join the business. Gaétan develops a legendary proximity with the clientele, while Jocelyn structures partnerships with the best suppliers.
2002 | Modernization of the image
The company undertakes major renovations to modernize its Waterville facilities. The team grows to reach 50 passionate employees.
2009 | Expansion to Bromptonville
To meet growing demand, Matériaux Létourneau opens a second branch in Bromptonville. This step consolidates its strategic presence in the Eastern Townships (Estrie).
2024 | 50 years of know-how
The company celebrates half a century of success serving contractors and renovators, now boasting a robust delivery fleet and over 60 employees.
2025 | A new chapter
Building on the solid legacy of the Létourneau brothers, Geneviève Gagnon takes the reins with remarkable determination and agility, combining her sense of innovation with unifying leadership to propel the company into the future. A natural transition founded on shared family values, ensuring the continuity of excellence and local service for both branches.
