RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Matériaux de Construction Létourneau Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MCL") is committed to providing outstanding service to its customers with simplicity and transparency.

LAWS AND REGULATIONS

MCL complies at all times with the various laws and regulations to which it is subject in managing its operations and customer relationships.

RETURN POLICY

Return Period

•    45 days from the date of purchase or delivery. 

Condition of Merchandise

•    The product must be in brand-new condition and in its original packaging. Seals must be intact. 
•    Defects: Any defective product can be returned, exchanged, or repaired without hassle within five (5) days following purchase or taking possession. 

Supporting Documents

•    The original invoice is mandatory. An official photo ID may be requested to ensure the security of personal information that may be used or transmitted during the transaction. 

Method of Refund

•    Refunds will be issued according to the original method of payment for purchases made by credit card, debit card, or charged to an account. MCL reserves the right to carry out standard verifications with card issuers. 
•    Purchases made with a gift card will be refunded in the same manner. 
•    Any cash refund involving a significant amount may require a delay for verification and security purposes. 

Applied Price

•    Returns with an invoice: Refunded at the initial purchase price as indicated on the invoice. 

Return Fees

•    Subject to the conditions mentioned above, MCL will generally not charge additional restocking fees on returned products or for the cancellation of a layaway item. 
•    However, a restocking fee may apply to a product that does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined above. The deduction percentage is determined by Store Management based on estimated depreciation, as well as the costs and losses associated with taking back the item, out of fairness to all MCL customers. 
•    Costs related to complementary services, such as delivery and handling services provided during the initial purchase, are not eligible for a refund. 
•    Delivered merchandise: On-site pickup fees will generally be billed additionally, unless the store can accommodate the customer when a delivery route occurs near the pickup location. The customer or their designated representative must be present on site. 

Exceptions

The following products are not eligible for a return or an exchange, except in the case of an inherent product defect or following a verified internal error: 
•    Special orders 
•    Customized products 
•    Colored, tinted, mixed, or customized paint/stain 
•    Modified or cut products 
•    Clearance, final sale, or end-of-season products 
•    Products excluded for hygiene reasons (toilet seats, gloves, etc.) 
•    Products containing gas or other volatile substances 
•    Any product that is not in its original packaging 
•    Products that have already been used, unless defective 
•    Opened bundles of shingles 
•    Gift cards 
•    Magazines and reviews 

MCL reserves the right to refuse a return or an exchange at any time. 

WARRANTY

•    Subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's legal warranty. 

Notice to Quebec Consumers:

•    Regarding the availability of replacement parts, repair services, and maintenance or repair information, please note that MCL does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services, or maintenance and repair information for products within the meaning of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, as amended by Bill 29. Manufacturers' warranties will continue to be honored. 

This Policy may be amended, modified, or canceled at any time at the sole discretion of MCL.
